WHERE IS YOUR FAITH IN TIME OF TRIAL

This message is for someone out there, who is going through challenges..... I just want to say to you beloved, have faith...
we all of our own different challenges but I want to say to you that whatever you are going through at the moment, someone else is going through it too. You are not the first to go through it and certainly won’t be the last.
In every challenges you encounter in life, there is an opportunity for you to grow and be strong, there are moment we make costly mistakes that could lead to some of the trials we are facing right now, but do you know that in every mistake there is a message, but some of us miss this message because we are too busy punishing ourselves for the mistakes we made.
I want you to know that God’s time is not our time and he is rarely ever early but he is never late, if only you will believe that your times are in his hand. Let me lift your spirit by sharing the story of a couple (Nichole and Mike) with you....
Nichole and Mike have been courting for like 4 years when they decided to tie the knot, Nichole works in a Bank while Mike works with a Multinational company in Lagos. Few weeks to their wedding, Mike lost his job but they didn’t because of this postpone or cancel the wedding date because Nichole still has her job. After the wedding Nichole was taking all the financial responsibilities in the house while Mike keeps going out to apply for job, yet he couldn’t get any.
2 months after the wedding Nichole got pregnant and
they were both happy, they believed that God would make way for Mike soon. But the unexpected happened 5 month after the wedding, then Nichole was already 3 month pregnant and Mike still hasn’t gotten a job yet. Nichole was part of the staffs that were sacked at her place of work; it was really a sad day for her and her husband. They couldn’t sleep that night because they were thinking of how they were going to survive without a job and because of Nichole’s condition she couldn’t go out to look for job. So they started living on the little savings they had left in their account till they had nothing left. At that period there was nobody to support them not even in-laws or siblings from both couple except for Nichole’s mum who was just a petty trader, she sends them little from what she makes out of her trade and also send them foodstuffs. It was the most difficult moment of their lives, you can imagine a pregnant woman going through such difficulties and not even feeding well, no proper medical care also for her.
But the only thing they both had left was their FAITH in God, that kept them going and they both believed that God won’t leave them all alone to die in that hardship. Not long afterwards, Mike got a job with a small firm, they were willing to pay him #50,000 monthly, that was like a peanut to what he earns in his formal place of work but at that moment it was like millions to him, he was so happy that at least he could do something to help the situation of his family. They kept managing on the 50k till Nichole puts to bed; she really had difficulty while giving birth and the hospital had to do series of test on her which were quite expensive. Mike had no choice but to get a loan from work to pay up the hospital bills. It got to a stage Mike begins to nag and complain at every little thing Nichole does in the house all because his pay couldn’t cover the expenses at home. At this point in time they had sold all the valuable things they had, they lived in a 2 bedroom flat in ojota where they pay 400k per annum, but they still had 1 year left before their rent would be due. They are both good Christians and steadfast in the lord, when they had their baby, the church did support them in their own little way too. I’m sure by now you will be wondering why God is so silent about their case; but beloved remember that God is rarely ever early but he is never late in tending to our case.
Because of all the difficulties they were facing, Nichole didn’t wait for her baby to be strong before she starts applying for a new job, 4 months after she gave birth, she finally got a new job with a well known financial institution, and the pay was even better than what she earns at her formal place of work. It was the happiest moment of her life, and few months later things began to fall into shape for them. 3 months afterwards Mike also got a job with another multinational company and his take home was really fantastic, finally it was God’s time to rescue them.....hmmmmm
Things started going smoothly for them once again and all the joy and happiness lost in time of trials, returned back into their home.
Beloved, your own trial may not be job or finances, it could be a partner or fruit of the womb, but i want to say to you that tough times are like physical exercise. You may not like it while you are doing it, but tomorrow you will be stronger because of it. Have it at the back of your mind that God has not forgotten you, keep your faith strong, believe and be hopeful that all will be well, every soul in this life has challenges but what matter most is your faith during your waiting period, God will never be too late on your case. One thing i have learnt about life is NEVER PUT YOUR TRUST IN MAN, not even your blood relations or friends because they are humans, in as much as they have blood flowing in their veins; they are bound to fail you and that is why i don’t get disappointed because I don’t expect much from people. Always remember the fact that its because of your status, position and what you have that made people to still come around you, by the time all is gone you won’t see anyone but God , so beloved put your trust in God and keep your faith strong in him, i can assure you that you will smile soon.
I will be glad if you can also share your stories with me, it could also help a soul out there (talktobims@yahoo.com).
Good to be back online again after a long pause, stay blessed and enjoy the rest of your day.
Olabimpe cares, cheers
